It's been a busy week at Anstead Acres. Our regular private and group lessons went ahead last week despite the heat. We would like to thank all of our first time riders' enthusiasm which was not affected by heat.
On the slightly cooler Saturday afternoon a group of awesome kids enjoyed a farm party. The kids loved brushing the cows Winston and Clarabelle. They had so much fun having a ride on our cute pony Chief and the beautiful Sienna.
Annabelle's mum's biscuit's were a clear favourite among the kids.
Happy birthday Annabelle!
On Sunday morning we saw our adult riders bright and early for our riding clinic. The clinic started at 8.30am and finished at 12. We jammed a lot of information and riding into the three and a half hours, focusing on specific exercises to improve the maneuverability of our horses.
The intensive work was broken up with a refreshing morning tea break with some yummy food - thankyou Mrs Coles!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at these upcoming events:
- Kids riding clinic on the 2nd March
- Half day groundwork clinic 16th March
- Kids day camps - Easter school holidays
Next blog soon. In the meantime, keep enjoying your horses.
