A Place Of Learning For Horse & Rider
About Anstead Acres
A Brisbane based riding school
Anstead Acres is a horse riding and agistment centre in Anstead, set on 20 acres of beautiful country in the western suburbs of Brisbane. Only 30 minutes from the CBD and Ipswich with a picturesque frontage to the Brisbane River, we are a unique centre offering horse riding lessons and clinics inside and outside of the arena.
Pam Andrew has over 40 years of experience, from competing in stock horse futurities, showing, camp drafting and challenges. You will benefit from learning from someone with a wide range and depth of experience. Pam has bred and started most of her own horses, taking them from foals all the way to successful competition horses.
As all lessons are with Pam, or under her eagle eye, you or your child will not only receive great riding instruction but a whole wealth of knowledge just being around a working horse property.
Pam is a senior instructor with the nationally recognised body Horse Safety Australia, as well as a Cert. 3 and 4 in Agriculture so you can have full confidence you and your child are in safe hands.
We very much look forward to seeing you at Anstead Acres soon.
Pam Andrew | Founder
Anstead Acres offers volunteer opportunities for enthusiastic individuals aged from 13 upwards who are keen to be involved with and around horses.
Volunteering with us you will develop strong work ethic, while getting fit and spending time outdoors on our beautiful property.
If this opportunity sounds perfect for you or your child, don't hesitate to get in contact.
Pam has been the instructor and and mentor I have always been looking for. She teaches you not only how to ride but horsemanship skills. Her teachings are helping me fill in the gaps of my training to overall be a better horseman and communicator with horses. There's no one around that compares to Pam, she knows her stuff! Plus she makes learning fun.
