Anstead Acres is a horse education and agistment centre in Anstead, set on 20 acres of beautiful country in the western suburbs of Brisbane. Only 30 minutes from the CBD and Ipswich with a picturesque frontage to the Brisbane River, we are a unique horse education centre.
We offer horse riding education and lessons (on your own horse or ours), as well as a variety of clinics and events helping horse owners (and horse-lovers!) to work with their equine partners.
Pam is a senior instructor with the nationally recognised body Horse Safety Australia, as well as holding a Cert. 3 and 4 in Agriculture. You can have full confidence that you are in safe hands, with her wide range and depth of experience. Our regular lesson riders at Anstead Acres not only receive great riding instruction from Pam and her team, but a whole wealth of horse education and knowledge.

Passionate educator | Avid competitor | Horse respect advocate
Pam Andrew has over 40 years of horse experience. In the past, she has bred and started her own horses, taking them from foals to successful competition horses, some of which are still in the team today. In addition to horse breeding and training, Pam has competed in stock horse futurities, camp drafting and challenges, as well as having success at shows. Pam still travels far and wide to compete in a range of events with her horse team.
Moreover, Pam is a champion of horses; it is her love and respect of horses that ignited her desire to open Anstead Acres and share her knowledge and skills with fellow horse lovers. It is evident when watching Pam that she enjoys every aspect of horse ownership and has a great depth of knowledge and experience to draw from. It is also evident that Pam can talk horses all day long if you give her a chance! 😊
Whether you are heading to Anstead Acres for a lesson, clinic, or event you will enjoy learning with this skilled horsewoman. You will come to enjoy her passion, positivity, and enthusiasm for all things horse related, and her calm guidance when teaching.
Volunteer
Anstead Acres offers volunteer opportunities for enthusiastic individuals aged from 15+ upwards who are keen to be involved with and around horses.

Volunteering with us will help you develop a strong work ethic, while getting fit and spending time outdoors on our beautiful property.
