Anstead Acres hosts a number of monthly events suited to riders with their own horses of all experience levels. We love sharing our time and facilities with like minded people who enjoy learning with their horses. We are a float friendly property so why not come along and join us.

Horse & Rider Events
Evening Poles Sessions (4 riders per group)
Our poles sessions help to develop coordination, balance, strength and flexibility in your horse. Join a lovely group of like minded riders to navigate our poles set ups with your equine partner. Set up so you can do your own workout. Coaching by request.
Session times: 5.00pm, 6.00pm, 7.00pm.
Evening Troop Drill
Come along and join us for a lot of fun and laughter whilst we learn and practice a short troop drill with our horses. Troop drills are a wonderful way to work on coordination, communication, and horsemanship skills with your horse. Coaching included.
Session Time: 6.00pm to 7.30pm.

Monthly Groundwork Sessions
Our monthly groundwork sessions are for riders keen to expand their groundwork and horsemanship skills whilst increasing their connection with their horse.
These sessions are small and can include exercises out of the arena expanding the learning opportunities and environments for horse and rider. We have scheduled these on the 1st Wednesday morning of each month to enable your, and your horse's education, to be regular and consistent.

Kids Horsey Holiday Camps
At Anstead Acres we believe every child deserves to spend some time with horses on their holidays! We love having kids aged 6 to 13 years join us for day camps to learn more about horses. Our day camps provide your children with a basic level of horse education including safety, grooming, feeding and of course riding the beautiful, educated Anstead Acres horses!
Your children will make new friends and enjoy a group atmosphere encouraging everyone to participate and have fun, whilst improving their horse knowledge and skills. The two riding sessions included in each day camp allow children of all skill levels to enjoy developing their skills on horseback with their newly made friends.
Our day camps run for 3 hours, and are available only on our educated school horses. We have limited spaces available in these popular day camps, and it is best to book early in the term to ensure your child's spot.
Duration: 15 minutes
$40 + GST per pony ride
